We understand that some children require extra care and attention to ensure that they feel comfortable and at ease during each visit. Our Board-Certified dentist, Dr. Rebecca Day, has specialized training in treating young patients with special needs!
We work closely with parents to understand their child’s unique needs and develop a personalized treatment plan that meets their individual requirements. As a pediatric dentist for special needs, we are trained in providing compassionate care for children with physical, developmental and behavioral challenges.
Whether your child has ADHD, autism, down syndrome, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, cleft lip and palate, MTHFR gene mutation or another challenge, we use gentle techniques to help your child feel safe and secure. We’ll accommodate your child through dental exams and cleanings, restorations, extractions and any other necessary treatment.
We provide safe sedation options, including nitrous oxide (laughing gas), in-office conscious sedation, IV sedation or general anesthesia in a hospital setting. We’re also happy to schedule a pre-appointment visit to introduce your child to Dr. Day and our team before the day of their cleaning or dental procedure if that would help!
